Tap the "+" button on the People tab. Enter their name, birthday, and choose the calendar type (Gregorian or Hijri). You can also import contacts directly from your device.
The Hijri calendar is the Islamic lunar calendar used to determine religious dates and milestones. MoonAge tracks ages in both Gregorian and Hijri calendars simultaneously, so you always know both ages.
Add your child with their birthday. MoonAge will display their age in both Gregorian and Hijri years. Many scholars recommend teaching children to pray at 7 lunar years old. MoonAge makes it easy to track this milestone.
Go to Settings and enable notifications. You can choose to be reminded 7 days, 3 days, or 1 day before each birthday.
First, set yourself as "Me" by adding yourself and marking the "This is me" option. Then add family members and assign relationship types (Spouse, Child, Parent, Sibling, etc.). The Family tab shows everyone organized by relationship.
Go to the Calendar tab. Select any date on the calendar and MoonAge will show you the equivalent date in both Gregorian and Hijri, along with regional month names for different Arabic-speaking regions.
Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is automatically backed up to your iCloud account and will sync across all your Apple devices.
Open a person's detail page and tap the Calendar icon in Quick Actions. This will create a birthday event in your Apple Calendar.
